A portrait is not a simple, three dimensional photograph. A portrait must be
alive.
In a portrait the outward appearance comes together with the inner character,
bringing the inside out, revealing the hidden but essential parts of a person.
Like the human face, a portrait has different facets and it is this that
makes the bust so precious.
Many reasons to commission a portrait:
- to honour a loved and respected person
in a very special way, such as for a birthday or jubilee.
- to surprise someone
with a unique and very personal gift.
- to capture the charm of a period
in life in a unique way, such as with children or teenagers.
- with one of
yourself, to surprise your family or your enterprise.
Whatever the reason
may be, a portrait is always something very unique and personal.
